1. 14-Day Free Trial
There is no setup fee on any plan. You try SideMind free for 14 days, so you can see it catch real leads before your first payment. A card is required to start the trial, and your plan begins automatically at the end of the 14 days unless you cancel first.
The trial runs for 14 days from the day your service goes live.
A valid card is required to start the trial. You are not charged during the 14 days.
At the end of the 14 days, your plan starts automatically at your plan price and your card is charged for the first month. No reminder is sent before this first charge, so if you do not want to continue, cancel before the trial ends.
2. What Happens When the Trial Ends
If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged and the service switches off. That means:
Your website is taken down.
All systems we built and run for you are switched off, including missed-call text back, lead replies, the review system and any reporting.
You keep what is yours:
Your own domain name stays yours.
Your own data stays yours. We will provide a copy of your leads and contacts on request.
You do not keep the live website or the systems. They are part of the ongoing service and come down when the trial ends.
3. The Trial Is for Trying the Service, Not a Free Website
The free trial exists so you can try SideMind before you commit. It is not a way to get a website built for free and then keep it. The website and every system are part of the ongoing monthly service. If you do not continue, or you later cancel, they are switched off and removed. The website is only live while you are a paying client.
4. After You Continue
Once the trial ends and your plan begins, billing is month to month with no lock-in contract.
You can cancel anytime with 30 days written notice.
Months already served are non-refundable. You will not be charged for any period after your cancellation takes effect.
On cancellation, the service and your website switch off. You keep your domain and your data.
5. Service Failures
If your SideMind service experiences a technical failure caused by SideMind (not third-party platform outages beyond our control), and that failure results in material service disruption over 48 consecutive hours, you may be entitled to a pro-rata credit for the affected period.
To request a credit, contact us at kevin@sidemind.com.au within 7 days of the incident with details of the disruption.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Free Trial Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If you believe you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, please contact us at kevin@sidemind.com.au.
7. How to Request a Credit
To request a service credit, email kevin@sidemind.com.au with your business name, invoice number, and reason for the request. We will respond within 5 business days.
